FYI Mariner May 16 2010

I googled my May 2 Mariner cruise looking to see if any groups were on that cruise. May 16 date popped up as a "2nd Annual Cougar Cruise". The agency that is booking states that over 300 singles were on the first "annual" cruise. I prefer not to cruise with any large group. So this is just an FYI to those who care.

The funny thing is, many people cruise with large groups and don't even know it. I'd not want to be a part of this particular group, nor any large group, but 300 people is less than 10% of the total pax.

 

Edit to add, you almost were a part of the Oakland Raiders group cruise, now that would have been wild! They have moved dates at least twice now, first I think it was going to be Apr 18th, then May 2, now it's on July 11.

Thank goodness it was changed from May 2! Yes, 300 is not a large percentage. But I've seen even a small group have a negative impact. Probably depends on the group.
