texas2fl Posted March 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 22, 2010 Any suggestions on the best place to park at Port Everglades? We are leaving March 28th on the Solstice. Would like to be as close to pier as possible. Also, what is the earliest time we can board? Thanks!
Krazy Kruizers Posted March 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 22, 2010 There are parling garages right near the cruise terminals. I think the price is $15 per day.
Shifra Posted March 22, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 22, 2010 Parking right in the port is $15 a day. Parking off-site near the port is $10 or $12 a day (not positive about this price). The off-site parking will have a free shuttle to take you to the pier and back. On-site parking will be near your pier so no shuttle is needed. We always park in the port which is just more convenient for us.
foflocruiser Posted March 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2010 Parking is at Pier 18. Walking distance to front door.
leeclanual Posted March 23, 2010 #5 Share Posted March 23, 2010 Anyone know what parking garage to use for Pier 18? Do you drop bags off before you get to the garage or do they have carts to push luggage to checkin?
ricktwo Posted March 23, 2010 #6 Share Posted March 23, 2010 It isn't a garage for the Solstice, it is a surface lot for $15 per day, ends up being $105 for a week (same rate as a garage). This lot is adjacent to the terminal; if you choose this option you can either drop off the people/bags, park and walk back OR park and take your bags across the lot (depending on your packing habits). There are alternatives, like parking outside of Port Everglades and taking a shuttle.
