Considering booking the 7 Mile Beach Break Excursion through Carnival for our upcoming May cruise. Does anyone happen to know what the prices were for the various watersports that are offered at the beach? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

TheWog - Thank you for the info. It's nice to have an idea of what's available and what it's going to cost! Thanks again!

You are welcome.

If you do decide to use the cabs they are easy to use. They will be looking for people as you get off the tender to take you there. They will then be waiting for you at a stand to take you back to town. Just note they usually wait to be full so it could be a few minutes before you actually leave the beach, so plan accordingly.

Don't book excursion to 7 mile. Go by taxi and go to the Beach Colony. You will get a taxi for about $4-5 pp each way and you can stay longer. We get there before them and leave after them. :D Look up the Beach Colony online. Entry fee, chair and free drink coupon from bar about $20 pp. Not to worry - PLENTY of taxi's back to the tender.

The Beach Club Colony looked like it was closed when we drove by in mid-March. It looked like they had moved to their new facility, since there were people and cars there. Unfortunately, I don't know if the new facility has the same name as the old one.

And, I'd skip the Beach Club Colony...old or new. :D Beaches are free in Cayman, so why pay an entry fee when you don't have to? Royal Palms and Sea Grape are two sections of Seven Mile Beach with free facilities (showers, restrooms, etc.) and a great bar/restaurant, as well as chair/umbrella rentals and watersports operators. At those locations, you only pay for what you use...so if you're fine throwing a towel down on the beach and keep the bar bill to a minimum, you can have an even cheaper day than the $20 per person...
