Hard liquor through "Bon Voyage" Department ?

I was just perusing the available items on the order form through Carnival's Bon Voyage Department and I don't see hard liquor available to order. (?) I could have sworn I had read on these boards that people have ordered Vodka, etc though Bon Voyage.....am I mistaken ?

you're not mistaken, but you can't order it online...

 

you have to call them 1-800-522-7648 ...

 

and keep in mind, it's a bit more pricey than you'd expect at your liquor store :D

Naw, I don't think so.....I live in Canada's Arctic and booze prices would blow your socks off. Even Carnival's drink prices are cheaper than what we would pay here in a bar ! :eek:

It has also been said that you can order a bottle thru room service while on the ship. Host Mach confirmed this. We have already ordered a bottle to be in our room, don't want to take any chances. But, from all the posts about the OJ, looks like we will have to bring a carton of that.

Its a great deal, only a marginal mark up even by US standards. Just make sure you call the phone # provided, as Bon Voyage is really the only ones who can order this for you, customer service has no idea......

Does anyone know exactly what the raspberry liquor is? Is it like a raspberry Pucker/Schnapps? Would it go well with the lemonade?

I just got off the phone with CCL and they said you can't order booze for your room after you get on the ship. You need to order it at least a week in advance of sailing. We were on the Triumph about 6-7 years ago and ordered da bottle after we were on the ship and had no prob. I guess they changed their rules.

Also bear in mind if sailing out of Mobile, Al or Texas. You will not get the liqour until you hit International waters or the next day. We are just off the Fantasy and it was middle of the 2nd day before it was in our cabin.

I just ordered a bottle of Stoli for my cruise on the 29th and they told me I had until the 25th to add to the order if I wanted.
