Miracle Cat. 4K cabins

Can anyone fill me in on the Cat. 4K cabins (with french doors) on the Carnival Miracle. When I look on Carnivals website these cabins are listed under "inside" category. When I look at the deck plans they appear to be exterior cabins? I'm also curious about the "french doors". Do these doors open? I'm assuming the view is obstructed by the life boats but how obstructed is the view? Is it possible to get some type of view and a bit of fresh air? Anyone have any pictures?

No pictures...but we had one of these cabins last year. The "doors" opened, and you could get fresh air. If you looked down, you saw water.

 

The only negative was that staff would walk by....so there was somewhat a lack of privacy.

I just rec'd an upgrade to a 4k and I was so confused. Window, no window, french doors...it falls in the interior so I was lost. Anyway, this picture got rid of any confusion I had. I'm quite please with the upgrade fairy. Thank you so much for posting this picture.

You mentioned that your doors opened. Did you have to ask the room steward to unlock them for you? That will be awesome if we can open up the doors and get some fresh air :-)

oh, besides the window/doors being different then other categories. Is there anything else about the room that is different from other cabins in the interior category?
