anyone stay at the Keni Princess Lodge?

Thinking of busing from Anchorage for a 2 night stay at the Keni Princess Lodge. Has anyone stayed here? Please describe and any recomendations for something to do there? Thanks

Very very nice property, but I would not be there without a car. The lodge is way up a hill and your touring options will be limited to Princess tour availablity. This is an excellent area for fishing, not much else. I would not hesistate to drive there and stay there. However- if interested in Seward activites- Princess offers theses- better is to STAY in Seward- you are 40 miles away.

Thanks again kiddo. We kinda depend on Princess transportation mainly due to the maximum amount of luggage we bring ( we....hmm...are geting better at this though) and hate to travel all the way for just the cruise. This ship is leaving out of Whittier this year rather than Seward. You mentioned the train south is better than northbound but again kinda stuck with Princess transfers due to luggage. Appriciate your input. When are you going this year?
