Cans of Pop - Can I bring?

Have brought bottles of wine aboard but does anyone know if we can bring cans of pop? I can get some at the grocery story Publix in FLL before we board. Thanks.

I like Coke Zero which is not available on board.

In February I boarded the Eurodam with an entire case.

Just put a luggage tag on it and it was brought to the cabin.

Also brought a case of Red Bull for cabin-mate and an ice chest to keep it all cold in.

The cabin refrigerators are merely coolers and do not get anything cold.

Our wonderful steward kept everything nicely iced every day.

It was all considered so normal that no one even blinked.

Thanks. Holy cow. That's a lot of pop. I was just thinking of a six pack and hope I can finish it. A small cooler for the kids sound nice. Now if I can put it in the big suitcase and fill it will socks and undies until we get there. Good idea.

When we did the 2009 Grand Med, we brought 56[!] cans of Coke Zero, enough to last the entire 50-day voyage. we actually gave some away to other CCers. We didn't want it thrown around and surprising us when we opened the cans, so we dragged it on board in a wheeled carry-on. I think it was our heaviest piece of luggage.

Since ginger is always a good ship board treat to keep those sea legs dancing, you may want to try the really fantastic Australian ginger beer they sell at World Market called Bundaberg. The best.

I bring a six pack now on each trip and fit one at a time into the fridge.

PS: ginger beer is non-alcoholic soda; not a real beer.

sorry forgot to ask. how do you pack it? We have to fly from chicago.

Can't bring it on the carry on. In the suit case with the regular clothes?

Will the can explode and ruin all our clothes? My DH will kill me if that happens.
