Sounds decent to me. We thought we had a deal in Feb, BUF to FLL for 2 adults for just under $500 taxes in. Go for it! :)

Never flown out of Ft. Lauderdale so don't know if I'm comfortable with it or not. Looking for other's opinions on if it's a reasonably good price.

Assuming the return date is the 24th ?

And don't know why the hesitancy to fly out of (or into) Lauderdale.... much better airport and easier to get around than Miami.

 

What is the comfort issue you are concerned of ? Flying into/out of Lauderdale and cruising from Miami ? Transfer issues ? Flight arrival/departure concerns ?

Maybe you're misunderstanding....I'm not sailing from Miami and flying into Ft. Laud. I'm flying into Ft. Laud. and sailing from Ft. Laud. My previous cruises have always departed from other locations so I just didn't know if $280 was a good price for that Ft. Laud. flight. Thanks!

If you're sailing from Pt Everglades, you'd be nuts to fly into any other airport. FLL is basically just across the street from the port. Just hop a cab and you will literally be there in 5 minutes.

 

FLL is a very easy airport to navigate. You won't have any problems there. And yes $280 is a decent price.

Sorry didn't mean to confuse you. Sometimes we assume everyone knows the names of the ports. Port Everglades is the name of the cruise port in Ft. Lauderdale. ;)

looks like you could save a little more if flying from Akron (CAK) to Lauderdale on Airtran for those dates.

That is pretty close to what we have been paying from MCI to FLL non-stop the last year or so.
