OSJ.. where to get a great dinner??

Hello.. We will be in Old San Juan for one night and want a great dinner.. Something not majorly expensive and authentic Puerto Rican would be great..We are staying st the Sheraton...Thanks

Also, are those restaurants on Forteleza St. walking distance to the dock?

I'm not sure where the Niew Amsterdam will be docked in December. Thanks.

 

 

Yes. Well within walking distance.

 

And lovely to walk back to the ship after dinner seeing it all lit up. Beautiful.

Dragonfly is good but we prefer Barrachina for the authenticity and the price. Enjoy your cruise.

 

I agree about Barrachina. If you're there on a Friday or Saturday night at 8 pm you can watch their flamenco show, free with dinner. Awesome show and really great food. If you want to see the show, make a reservation for 7pm, to give you time to order and enjoy your food. Enjoy the show over dessert ;).

thanks for the info and menu website. any recommendations on the food for the adults and the kids? I think we're there mid-week, can't remember so we won't be able to see the show but just to hang would be nice.
