m steve Posted April 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2010 is Forteleza St. and at the end in 300 block are about 6 good restaurants. Just walk over, look at the menus posted and decide. Dragonfly is good.

mommyto2girls Posted April 5, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 5, 2010 Dragonfly is good but we prefer Barrachina for the authenticity and the price. Enjoy your cruise.
Berk987 Posted April 5, 2010 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2010 any of those restaurants good for kids age 4 and 6? Our ship doesn't leave until 8pm so if we have an early dinner (say 5ish) then we're good. Thanks.
Berk987 Posted April 5, 2010 #7 Share Posted April 5, 2010 Also, are those restaurants on Forteleza St. walking distance to the dock? I'm not sure where the Niew Amsterdam will be docked in December. Thanks.

Host Faith Posted April 5, 2010 #10 Share Posted April 5, 2010 Dragonfly is good but we prefer Barrachina for the authenticity and the price. Enjoy your cruise. I agree about Barrachina. If you're there on a Friday or Saturday night at 8 pm you can watch their flamenco show, free with dinner. Awesome show and really great food. If you want to see the show, make a reservation for 7pm, to give you time to order and enjoy your food. Enjoy the show over dessert ;).
Berk987 Posted April 5, 2010 #11 Share Posted April 5, 2010 thanks for the info and menu website. any recommendations on the food for the adults and the kids? I think we're there mid-week, can't remember so we won't be able to see the show but just to hang would be nice.
