Nani_B Posted April 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2010 I've read many threads about the different places to park for cruising. I've looked up Park N Cruise, Lighthouse, and EZ Cruise Parking. They are comparable in price and seem safe and secure. My question is this...does it matter if your car is inside or out? Or if it's covered or not? I'm going to book it online, but am not sure if having a cover or being parked inside will matter? DH and I will be on the Conquest for the seven day cruise. Any and all advice is Very much appreciated!!
whaletaillover Posted April 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2010 We used EZ Cruise Parking last Sept. when we cruised on the Ecstasy and we plan on using them again when we go in October. This time I believe that we are going to have our car covered(they rent them) because our car was covered in dust and salt spray when we got back. That is going to happen any time you leave your car out even for a few days in Galveston. This way we won't have to wash the car before we start our drive home. Nani_B Posted April 3, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted April 3, 2010 Thank you, that makes perfect sense! I didn't even think about that! :o
firefly333 Posted April 4, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 4, 2010 My car was also filty parked at EZCruise. I didnt get the cover. They do have it enclosed with a high fence and have a 24 hour guard. ... but your car will be dirty.
texas greeneyes Posted April 8, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 8, 2010 Another reason many are willing to pay more for covered parking is to avoid inclement weather while loading and unloading luggage from their vehicle. We get a lot of thunderstorms down this way!
