Southeast Sea Kayaks

I have seen reviews on the Orca Cove Adventure with Southeast, but none on the Pennock Paddling Adventure. Orca Cove is 4 hrs. vs. 2.5 for Pennock. My thought is the Pennock would give us some time afterward to shop in Ketchikan as our ship is there from 11:00-7:00, and we are on the early dining. Anyone done the Pennock Paddling?

Haven't done it, but when my friend that I'm travelling with checked into this one - you are kayaking basically right around the dock area. Not much chance for wildlife, scenery, peace and quiet, etc.

Yes I have kayaked the downtown area, was a lot of fun going up Creek St. there hasn't been wildlife on any of my Ketchikan kayaking trips except birds. If this is your timeframe and you want to kayak, I think this a good option for you.
