anyone used a day rooms at JFK

our flight out of JFK is after midnight. Thats a long time from disembarkation, so was wondering if there are any day rooms at JFK where we could leave our luggage and go wandering downtown till later. If not does anyone have any other suggestions??

You could go to Manhattan instead and check your luggage at Schwartz Travel on 36th, which is open from 8 am to 11 pm daily. This will save you the cost of the room, cab from the pier to JFK, and cab or subway/train back into NY.
