Carry On Alcohol (Question from my brother)

Can alcohol be carried on the ship and consumed during the voyage or will it be confiscated? Also, can we consume alcohol purchased at ports? Thanks. :)

No problem, just use discretion when carrying aboard.

 

You may leave alcohol out in your cabin with no problems there either.

Princess does not try real haard to find alcohol in your luggage (checked or carryon). As long as you are reasonable, it should not be a problem.

 

Same with purchases in ports.

Brought 7 Bottles of wine on board in Dec. Didnt say a word. Dont know about hard liquor or beer.

They will charge you 15$ at dinner if you bring the bottle down. We were fortunate enough where our server only did that 2 of the 7 nights.

Wine or beer - no problem. Hard liquor - it is a no,no. People do it anyway. If they do confiscate your booze, they will give it back to you when you disembark.

We bring alcohol aboard in Rum Runners in our checked luggage without a problem. I also bring the odd 6 pack aboard in ports in a carry on and have brought a bottle of rum aboard in carry on without an issue. But like the others have use discretion and moderation.
