Spa question

Does anyone know if any of the Spas on Carnival (we're going on the Glory) ever have specials on massages, facials, pecicures, etc.? IF so, how would we find out about them and what the pricing would be? Do you book ahead of time or wait until you're on the ship? Do you ever have a hard time getting appointments?

Specials will be listed in the daily bulletin. Often, there are special prices when the ship is in port, as the spa is less busy then. You will have the most difficulty getting appointments on formal nights. I don't know when it's best to book; never done so, as I feel the prices are really high!

on the first day when you take the spa tour they have really good specials too. and yes port day have better deals than when you are at sea.

Been on the Glory 4 times this year. You will get notices of spa specials along with your nightly Carnival Capers. Usually specials are when you are in port but not always.

Thanks all. I did go to the Spa for a pedicure on the Inspiration and it was so nice to be pampered. It was expensive, but I was not worried so much since it was my first cruise (& thought, perhaps, I may never go on another one.) lol Anyway, getting serious about saving some $$ this time. I will probably make an appt for a port day. Thanks again for all the replies. :D
