Cruising 87 days after hiatal hernia surgery,anyone else done it?

Sorry to hear about you having to have surgery.

I have a question for you. I had my gallbladder out March 26th and my Dr. said I could go back to work after 3-4 weeks. I am actually going back the 20th right at 3 1/2 weeks. I'm a server so I lift alot but I only work lunch on weekdays. The Dr. told me if I went back after two weeks and started lifting that I could get a hernia and he'd have to go in and fix that and so I should wait the extra time before returning to work. My question for you is, did the gallbladder surgery cause you to need the hernia surgery?
