RCCL beach power snorkel or beach snorkel?

Hi, has anyone done either tour with RCCL? Which one would be better?

Does anyone know if you snorkel in and open area or a reef? Thanks!

If this is similar to the one offered on Carnival ships, they both go to the same beach. Same company. It's a secluded beach north of Costa Maya, nothing on either side of it except some damaged beach houses about a kilometer or more away. Reef is okay and you'll see some fish, but not like in Belize or on Roatan. DW liked the power snorkel until her power unit went kaput and she had to head in. You go about a 100 meters further out with the power snorkel than straight beach snorkel.
