Left Luggage in Whittier?

Does anyone know if there is a way to leave luggage somewhere during the day in Whittier while we do some local excursions? Either with Princess or maybe even at the docks or with Thrifty? Since we are renting an expensive mini-van, it seems silly to me to pay an extra day car rental just to have a place to leave luggage.

Thrifty has an office in Whittier??? But your tour opperator should be able to store your luggage while on the tour, I know Kenai fjords tours does.

Sorry, did I say Thrifty? I meant Avis. There's a couple hours between disembarking and the PWS cruise, so that won't work. Anyone else know?

Just an idea. It should still be an option to drop off bags at your tour operator- just early. I would call Avis directly when they open or perhaps the Anchorage office can give you an answer?
