USERBOYD66 Posted April 18, 2010 #26 Share Posted April 18, 2010 Thanks for posting the 5 day menu - and as you can see from my signature we leave soon. But, what I don't understand is this- if that is the menu for the main dining room, can you get the same food at the windjammer or at another location? The food on the menu for the main dining room is served exclusively there with one exception, if you are staying in a suite. Room service offers main dining room dinner for anyone staying in a suite. The Windjammer serves many different choices and it changes each evening.

Sugar*Magnolia Posted April 18, 2010 #29 Share Posted April 18, 2010 Thanks for posting the 5 day menu - and as you can see from my signature we leave soon. But, what I don't understand is this- if that is the menu for the main dining room, can you get the same food at the windjammer or at another location? We have never dined at Windjammer for dinner but I have read on threads throughout the years that WJ has "pretty much" the same food selections as the MDR for the evening with some exceptions. Ive heard exceptions to be, not all of the appetizers, and no lobster on the night the fishermans platter is offerred in the MDR. Im curious what other differences in food selection there is. I have read a lot of recent posts commenting how good the mongolian grill is in WJ dinnertime. Altho my family really enjoys the MDR, I think on our upcoming cruise in June, on one of the port nights we'll check out the WJ. Years of cruising and we never have. BobKat406 Posted April 19, 2010 Author #30 Share Posted April 19, 2010 Unforunately we did not eat at the WJ for dinner. We had Portofino's one night and the MDR the remaining time as we enjoyed the company of our tablemates.
