Club Soda/Seltzer Water available with soda card?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if club soda or seltzer water are available with the soda card? My husband and I are bigger club soda drinkers, not much for caffeinated drinks, and wondering if it will pay for us to go the soda card route. Also, can you get water in the restaurants for free, or do you have to purchase bottled water?

Thanks for your help!

I am a huge clubsoda drinker and the card works for this.

I must also say, I use this during the day at the pool bars, etc. I do switch to wine with dinner so i cannont give accurate advice regarding the dining room and this option.

Last year on the voyager they would not accept the soda card for club soda. That's all I drink and my daughter is the same way. We ended up buying some club soda at each port so we would have it readily available for us. I could not see paying $1.75 for a small glass of club soda.

Club soda is included as part of the soda sticker at ALL venues where the soda card is honored, which includes the dining room, alternate dining, etc. It is not honored for room service. If the bartenders/waiters tell you that the soda sticker does not include club soda, they are wrong. Insist if necessary. The fact is that club soda is simply sweet soda (coke, sprite, etc.) without the sweetener added. We never had any problem using the sticker for club soda on the ships. Don't let the bartenders intimidate you--they are required to honor the sticker for ALL fountain drinks.

BTW: We found the club soda on Radiance and Mariner to be excellent at the indoor bars, but not so great at the outdoor bars. I don't know why, but that's what we discovered.
