Need help posting pictures

I posted pictures before but for some reason I can't now. I tried using Flickr and copy and pasted the code but just the code showed up. What could I be doing wrong?

I only used the part in red, per info from Dave (pierces) quite some time ago - seems to have worked for me ever since, even though it is a little cumbersome to do.
