niceneasy Posted April 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2010 I booked the EOS and asked for an inside lower deck stateroom. I chose 2589 as it is midship and should help alleviate some of the motion. I have never been this low and my question now would be in reference to engine noise. What do you think? Have you had any experiences, good or bad, on the lower decks?
lovelife Posted April 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 18, 2010 You have the very best location as far as minimizing motion. I have stayed in that area of ships and did not hear any engine noise.

Yooper80 Posted April 19, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 19, 2010 I can give you a pretty good approximation. We were in 3610 on Enchantment, which is above and just slighty aft of 2589. I don't recall having any issues with engine noise. If Sergiy is still on the ship, I hope you get him as your waiter. I would say he was the highlight of our experience. tOSUSteve Posted April 19, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 19, 2010 Thanks for the guidance. Enjoy your B2B. Does anyone else have any experience on midship deck 2 on EOS? We sailed last May & were mid-ship deck 2. Don't recall hearing any engine noise or other issues. EOS is a great ship, doesn't have all the bells/whistle of the newer/larger ships, but that is what we like best about her.
