goinmobile68 Posted April 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2010 I was just on the site looking at the deck plans & noticed that one set is listed as 4/23/10-5/3/10 with the option to click on 5/8/10-4/5/12. Being new to this & thinking about the 5 days between the sets of dates, I was wondering-what changes? I looked over the plans & they look the same to me at first glance. It doesn't seem that 5 days is enough time to rip out walls or anything major, so I was just wondering if anyone knows what changes take place at all? We're sailing in June & I'd prefer to leave the duct tape at home instead of "building new walls!" (just kidding with that last one-everyone knows that you need cardboard TOO to build walls!) Puffinater Posted April 19, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2010 Is it the changes for D1 to D2 cabins? Some D1's previously listed are being changed to D2's.
Rare NorbertsNiece Posted April 19, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 19, 2010 I have no idea what goes on in the missing 5 days however I do know that there is a category change from D1 to D2 in aft cabins on deck 9....... ;)
The_Big_M Posted April 24, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 24, 2010 Some interior cabins are also being 'upgraded' to a new category K. I doubt there's any actual upgrade occurring though!
madforcruising Posted April 24, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 24, 2010 I think RFS is renamed to TS.
madforcruising Posted April 24, 2010 #6 Share Posted April 24, 2010 I think there´s no physical change to anything on the ship, but only some renaming of categories.
BroncosFan2010 Posted April 24, 2010 #7 Share Posted April 24, 2010 Is there really a difference between a D1 and a D2? Other than location, aren't the cabins exactly the same?
Sue L Posted April 24, 2010 #8 Share Posted April 24, 2010 Is there really a difference between a D1 and a D2? Other than location, aren't the cabins exactly the same? Yes, and they number of people who can occupy them are the differences, otherwise they are the same.
