Blue Lagoon Wrist Bands?

I was just curious... If Blue Lagoon is allowing ship passengers to book the Beach Day option through their cruise line... and allowing others to book animal encounters through Blue Lagoon, what stops the animal enounter only visitors from using the beach area? Will the cruise line people be wearing wrist bands or something of that nature? Thanks! :)

We booked the Dolphin Encounter for a Thursday. I was told that if the beach is open that day for ship excursions we would be able to use the beach too. We'll see on May 13!

Who were you told by? So you do not have to book both the animal enouncter and the ship's beach day excursion? When I contacted Blue Lagoon they told me you would need both excursions if you wished to use the beach after the encounter. Hmmm...
