Carnival Elation info

Hey everyone!

Taking my family on our 3rd Carnival cruise in June on the Elation and just looking to hear from some people that have been on her recently. What to look for, what were the shows, capers?

 

Hard to find current info on the Elation, so any help would be great!!

Me too! I have been searching these boards for info about the Elation, and haven't found much that's current.

 

We are also going in June. It will be the first one for our kids! Can't wait!

Was on her in the beginning of March. SHe looks great and the crew are friendlt. We on the west coast are sorry to see her go.

I'll be on the Elation in January so anything about that ship makes me happy. Is there anything I should not miss? We are sailing with three people that have never sailed before so that will be fun all on its own! :D

Just got off the Elation last Thurs.

 

Crew was wonderful, ship clean, although we did have some stains on the cabin carpet.

 

Cabins are nice--we were up on verandah. Enough storage, large enough shower to fit DH, but the balconies are small.

 

Food in MDR was ok, although DH really liked the lobster, lamb, and--actually everything he ate. :D (for me, it was ok).

 

We didn't go to any of the shows. If I remember right, alot of them were with the ships cast.

 

People seemed to really enjoy the pools, putt putt golf, serenity.

 

We are lazy cruisers, so didn't participate in alot.

 

We had 2 days in Cabo so took a boat tour to Los Arcos, and DH played golf the 2nd day. Did some shopping. Weather nice--not too hot.

 

We're going again in May and June. :)
