Beach Towels Required On Liberty Of The Seas

We are just packing for our 2 week B2B cruises on LOS and are not sure if we need to pack Beach Towels for the Caribbean. What are people's thoughts on this one? Can we use ship towels?

Yes, you can use the ship's towels. They usually make you swipe your Sea Pass card when you take them. If not returned at the end of the trip, they'll charge your account whatever the fee is.

 

We usually exchange towels on a daily basis, and it's never an issue!

FYI, If you are in a GS and above you probably won't have to swipe your card. You can just ask for towels and show your gold card. We were on Explorer in March in a GS, and when we showed our Gold sea pass to the towel person they just handed us towels and didn't swipe our card. We always returned them when we were done with them too.

You get towels at the pool, sign them out and return or exchange them anytime. It's easy.

Don't take up the limited and valuable space in your luggage by packing beach towels for your cruise. The Liberty will provide them and as long as you return them, there will be no charge.:)

Think practical:

 

You don't want to waste the space in your luggage.

And you'll have no way to wash those towels.

 

The ship's towels are fine. Just check them out, keep them all week (trading them in regularly for clean ones), then return them on your last day.

also -- if you pack your own towels they will NEVER dry between uses! It is too humid and there is very little air circulation in the cabins unless you have a balcony
