Beaches in walking Distance???

Hi! Are there beaches in walking distance from the Grand Cayman tender station? If so, are they public (assuming I can rent a chair or something). Thanks in advance!!

What do you define as walking distance? The main beach, Seven Mile, is a few miles away from the port area...technically, it's walkable, but I don't know if you'd want to, especially in the hot sun.

 

It's about a $4-6 cab ride per person each way, depending on what section of the beach you head to. Popular sections are Royal Palms and Sea Grape, and you'll find lots of threads here with more details about both those beaches.

We went to this area in March, not very nice. It was much nicer before the hurricane hit. Looking for a different place as we will return to GC next year.
