How much is an average taxi fare from JFK to Carnival Glory? I have no idea about taxi or even transfer other then carnival. They are like 70.00 one way.

Taxi fare from JFK to anywhere in Manhattan (The Carnival ships use the Manhattan cruise pier) is fixed at $45 (per taxi...not per person) plus tolls and tip.

Do you know which port you will be using. Most Carnival companies use Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. That would not be the same price as the JFK to Manhattan fixed taxi charge, but it should be less than the $70 per person your being quoted.

 

Make sure you can print out a map and make sure the driver knows the way, Many NYC taxi drivers, know Manhattan and the airports, but not Brooklyn.

 

If your leaving from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal at 12 Ave and west 50th Street you can get the fixed price taxi.

It's clear from the original question that the OP is sailing on the Carnival Glory. All Carnival ships currently sail from the Manhattan cruise terminal. Only Princess and Cunard sail from Brooklyn. The correct answer to the question was given three days ago.
