El Cedral?

We'll be in Cozumel next Saturday, and someone on our sailing board mentioned we might be in town for a fiesta? Is this true? If so, can anyone give some details?

Thanks in advance

I think El Cedral was fun. It's kind of like "authenic" mexico. You have real people doing real crafts to earn money and there's a really old church there to see too. I loved it. There's a guy there that paints on plates with his fingers and he's amazing. He does sea scapes (with his fingers) and then with a tiny brush he'll draw a carnival cruise ship on the water. Corny....a little, but still loved it!!

I thought El Cedral was interesting. I liked the fact that the Cedral(from the word Cathedral) was an open church, with the dogs chickens and cats all finding religion. It was right next to the remains of a Mayan ruin. Only place in the world, where Mayan and Christianity are on the same property.

Same thing happened to us. The thing is that, atleast when we were there, it didn't start until night time. El Cedral wasn't much to see, it was kind of like a Mexican trailer park surrounding it. We didn't stay long. LOL
What kind of trailer park were you expecting in Mexico??

Know what they call mexican food in Mexico? FOOD. :D:D:D
