Parking in Southampton

I guess it depends who you speak to.

The deal is on their website and booked by telephone.

I booked this deal at the Dolphin in Southampton through Late Bookings.com

£95 for a double ensuite+ Breakfast +8nights parking.

We shall be trying it out next Friday, so I will post on line when we have tried it out

We are cruising out of Southampton for the first time and having seen the horrendous parking costs it is cheaper for our son the chaufferer us there. They say there is short term parking opposite the terminal.

Has anyone any details ie is it free? is there a restriction on how long he can park because he would like to stay and 'wave us off' and when he picks us up on the return is there again any restrictions?

Looked at this, but hubby wasn't sure about insurance cover for this sort of deal.
