Which port is best to do this tour from? I noticed the tour is available in Juneau & Skagway. Any other ports? TIA :)

In Juneau- this is the most canceled tour, slightly less so in Skagway. It is also available in Seward. Coastal out of Juneau may be the cheaper??

The helicopter/dog sledding in Juneau last 3 1/2 hrs., but only 2 hrs. in Skagway. Would you still book the tour from Skagway, just to be safe?

There are NO guarantees for either- so book where the scheduling is best. AND have back up plans- sometimes glaicer flights are available- so think ahead if you want to consider the substitute. Then have back up plans for the back up plans. The shorter timeframe most likely includes ground shuttle time. You can walk to TEMSCO from the Skagway cruise dock where the airport in Juneau is a 20 min. shuttle bus ride away. Verify this directly with the vender.
