Peanut Butter on the Dream?

It just isn't breakfast without peanut butter for my toast in the morning. ;)

 

Does anyone recall if they have packets of peanut butter on the breakfast buffet on the Carnival Dream?

I have not been on the Dream yet, but of the 7 ships I have been on, I do not recall seeing packets of peanut butter.

We were on the Freedom in Feb. and they had a big container full of peanut butter.....not the packets, though. It was at the end of the line where they also had marmalade, etc.

I have been on nine Carnival cruises and all them had peanut butter on the breakfast bar. It is in a container at the end of the line. Next to the jellys.

Hubby had no problem finding PB for his pancakes (ewww!) on the Inspiration a few weeks ago. It was not in packets, though.

If you really love peanut butter bring your own brand. The peanut butter on the ships was sort of generic tasting.

If you don't already have a favorite "travel" peanut butter, you should take a look at Justin's Nut Butters. They are organic and they come in little packets. I especially love the maple peanut butter and maple almond butter and am planning to bring some on my cruise in May. You can google them or buy them from Amazon if you are interested.

They had peanut butter on the Freedom. they were in little cups with the jelly and butter.Ditto on HAL Westerdam..both Carnival owned. MY GRIPE..tiny one,,,is do they have GRITS on the DREAM? I love my grits and a vacation os not a vacation without a big bowl of steaming hot grits..with butter melting on it and plenty of salk and pepper. YUM.:)

Jif sells little travel packs of PB at most grocery stores. The PB on Carnival tends to be a little on the raw side.

The Dream definitely has it at breakfast. It was in the large container as pictured above. I agree with other posters that it is a bit bland.

PB&J is on both the Room Service Menu and the Child's menu in the Main Dining Room. ;)

Thanks for this tip!:) I found packets of Justin's Nut Butters at a Wegman's supermarket, and loaded up on 'em! Lot's of great flavors, too.
