Also do you know which port exactly we dock at in Cozumel?? Trying to book an excursion but not sure if we have enough time, I want to go back to Xel-Ha..Thanks for any info, we leave on Sat. next week!!

If you open a players bank, then it will go to your S&S. I never figured out how to open the bank, and didnt ask (they do have people there roaming about who will help you). I just was putting dollar bills into the slot machines, not a big gambler. Open a players bank, thats all I can tell you.

I do bring ones and small bills and some larger bills, tipping, like room service porters etc, and negotiating buying stuff in ports I use cash. I dont mess with travelers checks but Iv heard Carnival will cash them.

I dont know the name of the pier 3 miles away from town where Triumph usually docks. i was surprised on Ecstasy, last minute they changed and we docked downtown.

if you take travelers checks you can go to guest services and cash them in. I brought cash just for gambling. If you use your S&S to get cash it will cost you 3% in chg's. Now you will need to set up your S&S card for the slots. as what ever winnings you have, you will set up a pin (host's will help you) and then you put your s&s card in the machine and your winnings will be put on your s&s card. You must make sure you cash out by the end of the cruise. What i did was at the end of the evening i went to the casino cashier and cashed out the slot winnings i had. (the only time lol) for table play its like anyother, chips. again, you put your cash down and they give you chips and can cash out with cashier. i just hung onto my chips till the end.

i don't know about the dock so cant help you there, but i know there will be ppl with answers :)

Opening a players bank is easy. You just stick your card in, hit change pin, follow the prompts to enter a 4-digit pin and your birthday and ta-da!

The player bank serves the same function as ticket in/out in a regular casino without the ticket. You download the funds to your machine (in $10 increments) and then upload your funds when you are finished with that machine or just don't want that much in it at a time.

If you are on a slot machine, you can charge your gambling funds to your S&S without the 3% charge. If you go to the cashier, they will charge you the 3%.

I believe the dock in Cozumel is Puerta Maya.

but if you use the S&S with a players bank set up, you can pull out cash and there is no charge. Thats why people do it that way.
