LJH1 Posted May 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2010 Going on the Spirit on June 25th with a lot of family. My mom wanted to know if she can use cash in the casino, or do you have to use your card? All the slot machines take US dollars, if you need to break large bills you can do it a the wicket or just throw it all into the machine.
bean24 Posted May 1, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 1, 2010 You can use cash at the tables as well. Enjoy.

MrLee Posted May 1, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 1, 2010 Thanks so much! My mom will be happy. Of course the payouts are chips or a slip of paper that have to go to the cashiers cage.
tdcjerry Posted May 1, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 1, 2010 Yes payouts, if you can get one, would be chips or a ticket that you redeem at the cage, but most people (not all) just walk away with their CAS card and a room key.

fletcher57 Posted May 3, 2010 #10 Share Posted May 3, 2010 Hi, I've heard it said that people tend to win on the way to their destination and lose it on the way back. I hope the Spirit still has a bunch of penny slots. The last time we cruised was on the Dream to Bermuda and there were hardly any penny slots. No fun. I used to be able to go to the Spirit's casino with a couple of bucks after dinner and play the penny slots til just before show time. Definitely could not do that on the Dream. Tell your mom "good luck"
mfboat Posted May 4, 2010 Author #11 Share Posted May 4, 2010 Thanks so much to everybody. Mom's happy she can use cash - easier to keep track of, she thinks.
