FLL to WDW

Has anyone travelled from Port Everglades to Disney World. We have a group of 10 and are looking for options. Has anyone used a transportation comany that travels that distance or have you just rented cars?

I did a search and could not find any scheduled shuttles. There are transportation companies that you can request custom services by phone or email (do a google search on Port Everglade shuttle service), but my guess is you will be much better off renting a car. Car rentals are comparatively cheap in Florida anyway do to the competition.

Go to Port Canaveral's web page. They have a list of transportation companies.

Ray, I had the same thought as you. I was looking at web pages for Pt. Canaveral, but note mary is talking about Pt. Everglades out of FLL.

Thanks for the responses. I too tried looking for transportation companies, but didn't have much luck. It's looking like we'll need to rent a couple of minivans.

When we did it when we travelled on NCL Dawn... we took a bus arranged by them...

 

If I had a choice???? WDW is not doable in a day...

Last year, we rented a minivan out of MIA post-cruise and drove it to Orlando. Dropped it off at the Orlando airport. It was quite reasonable as far as pricing goes.

There were 8 of us and we took a limo. It was cheaper than renting a car and about the same as the cruise line transportation, but much more convenient. If you have less people a limo might not work out to be as good a deal. I think we paid $150 each way, total. I can't remember the name of the company, but there are several. I think I found them listed on the airport website.

Cruise Connection may be an option, although I don't know if they just do oneway. They run buses all through Florida, for residents who don't want to drive to and back from a port.
