Recommended Posts

I came online all excited to post and saw someone else just posted the same thing! Crazy!

Doesn't take away from my ridiculous excitement though! We're booked on the Serenade of the Seas, May 7, 2011! I got THE perfect balcony that I wanted, a table for two at dinner and something with cheesecake to celebrate our honeymoon?? 6 ports, 8 days, fabulous fabulous fabulous!!! SO EXCITED.

In 1986, we honeymooned on the Song of America. Hooked on cruising ever since. A great way to begin your married life! Best of luck!

Congrats on the wedding and honeymoon. Get your TA or the RCCL rep to be sure to note you are on your honeymoon and want a table for two. Or upgrade to a suite and take all meals in there...

Have a great cruise!!!

Not a bad idea! (all meals in the room I mean) They did put honeymoon on our reservation and promised me a table for two with a window view! I didn't ask for it, they just put it on there! How nice! And cheesecake!

The most exciting part was making the reservation in my married name. YAY!

How long after the wedding is your honeymoon?, not wanting to dampen your excitement, but your ID, Passport or Certified Birth Certificate and State Issued ID, must match the name on the booking, otherwise you will be denied boarding, it normally takes about a week to get the marriage certificate back from the courthouse, and you will need this to change your name on your ID's.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, wishing you a great cruise!

Congrats!!! Make sure you check with the head waiter in the MDR as soon as you get on board to get your table for 2. Just because you request it does not mean you will get it. I had a table for 2 on my honeymoon cruise, and it was amazing!

I am going on my honeymoon cruise Indy of the Seas July 2010. VERY EXCITED TOO! Although I kept my maiden name on the reservation so I wouldn't have to deal with any extra hassel.

After reading some posts on here (and thinking logically instead of with my YAY WEDDING brain) I decided to change my reservation to my maiden name too. The cruise is only a week after the wedding so we won't have the documentation. :( I'm sad to see my pretty married name disappear from the reservation but logic prevails of course.

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone! :D
