We will be docking in Copenhagen next month. What is the best mode of transportation from the pier to the city? Where would we purchase the tickets for the transportation and how much would they cost? In what order would you suggest we see the city sights?

There are two possible docking spots, It would help to know the ship and date as things change by date as well as company

REGATTA arrives Copenhagen on June 25, 2010 at LANGELINE Terminal.

 

Well - it's close to the city center. Taxi would be around 100 DKK depending where exactly in town you need to go.

 

If you want it "cheaper": you can go by Bus 26 to the city center: 23 DKK.

We docked very close to the Little Mermaid statue and took a taxi to town. Don't bother looking for her statue. It's gone to China.

About the statue. The sculptor made a copy that was kept in the family. Now that the Mermaid went to China, her "sister" is displayed in Tivoli - this is on Tivoli website.

Yes and a screen with a live feed to China is located at the normal place and it will show the statue 24/7.
