samnewbie Posted May 6, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted May 6, 2010 More info as posted on fb with the photos - Here is a preview of two @NCLFreestyle Epic dining venues, Le Bistro and Taste. Taste, located in the ship’s atrium on Deck 5, midship, blends off-white, free-form plastered walls with European retro-chic mixed with brick details and floor-to-ceiling velvet curtains. Taste will serve a selection of traditional and contemporary cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Le Bistro is Norwegian's signature French restaurant with an American flair. The elegant dining establishment surrounds guests with contemporary and traditional paintings and sculptures
ddakrt Posted May 6, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2010 Thanks for the links! Taste looks good with the stain glass windows, but I was hoping that t he ceiling would resemble the renderings. :o LeBistro tho looks pretty...ummm...cheap? The LeBistros on the current Jewel class ships have a high-end and very elegant feel to it, this one looks like a cafeteria. :/ Maybe the paintings, sculptures, and final lighting will change things for the better. Here's hoping anyway.

Youre welcome! :) I'm imagining Le Bistro with the tables dressed etc and think it will look really lovely when its completely 'dressed' and lighted, quite classy i hope :)...having never been on an NCL ship i'm sure i will just love everything though!! :D I agree , the stained glass looks great in Taste, think my daughter will love it there, it looks kinda cool.
