Mercury Opinion

The sailing for jan 15th 2011 is dirt cheap. I was wondering if it is worth it. We have sailed RCCI and Carnival. RCCI we LOVED and Carnival not so much. We are foodies and thought Carnival was blah. RCCI was much better food wise but the night life was better on Carnival. If it helps we are traveling with a 9 year old, and handicapped 21 year old, and my mom and I. All girls btw! So any insight on kids and handicapped would also be helpful. We have also sailed out of baltimore in winter and know that it is not the best travel weather.

I dont know what I would do without these boards.

The food on the Mercury is outstanding. We just took our 17 year old daughter in April on the Mercury and she wasn't really interested in the kids programs so I can't speak to that.

Being from the Baltimore area, all I can say about the winter weather is....it's like a box of chocolates. Some years it's mild and dry, other years you get 80" of snow.

All in all, I think you'll love the ship and the crew & staff.
