Why would?

Recommended Posts

Why would an OV be more exspensive then a balcony? On our sailing the price of an OV is more then a balcony... I find that odd...

I have noticed that wierd pricing on some of the "colder" Northeast port sailings - especially the cruises to nowhere out of NY. But you are sailing in August! I guess there is more demand for an OV. If they are selling better, they can ask more money for them! Maybe people want more inside space, rather than the balcony, which takes some of the inside cabin footage away.

It must just be the demand. For me personally, I actually like OVs more than balconies. I would prefer the bigger room to the balcony. I've loved the 2 OV rooms I've had, and I didn't use the balcony much the one time I had that.
