cmstraf Posted May 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2010 After major medical difficulties in April, yesterday specialist gave unwelcome news that my condition risks dangerous complications, is not yet resolved, and I cannot travel anywhere long on plane or far from well equipped modern hospital. So I sadly and reluctantly wrote our TA to cancel. Please keep PG in business and healthy, thanks to all of you who answered my many questions and offered great tips and advice. Hope to be on PG either in December or June of 2011. La orana to everyone
AndreaRH Posted May 14, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2010 I'm sorry you had to postpone your trip but just focus on getting better soon. It will be easier knowing you have a French Polynesian cruise to look forward to!

Maddle Posted May 18, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 18, 2010 I am sorry for your disappointment, and hope that you are healing and stronger every day. Look at this recovery time as ensuring that there will be many more birthdays to celebrate with your husband. Maddle
cmstraf Posted May 20, 2010 Author #7 Share Posted May 20, 2010 Thanks. The other thing that helps is that the reason doctors said no is that I am at considerable risk for post medical crisis complications which could entail need for quick surgical intervention in first rate Western hospital. Cruise in FP doesn't fit. And by next year, I may be able to drink wine and cosmos, eat bordelaise sauce and creme brulee. Good news--my husband's company approved our delaying trip until next year (part of our trip is award from them), so we want everyone to keep signing up for cruises to keep PG in economic good health.
