Jospen Posted May 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2010 November seems a little late to be cruising in the Med! Any advice on how rough the seas will be???
jeanlyon Posted May 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Hi there. There's actually no way to tell. It's how long is a piece of string. Won't be very warm though and the Mistral often blows from South of France over the Balearics. Wouldn't be my choice at that time of year.
UKBayern Posted May 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2010 We did a Med cruise late November last year, and we were very fortunate with the weather. Temperatures were mild, with about 18° C on average, with 23°C in Corfu and Sardinia. We had some rain at the end of the cruise in Cadiz and Lisbon, where the weather is influenced by the Atlantic ocean. On that bit it always gets a little bit bumpy. Good weather of course is not guaranteed, it can be the luck of the draw. On the other hand, really cheap bargains can be found in the Med at this time of the year, as a lot of people are nervous about the weather and it is not a holiday period in Europe. If you just want to walk outside in a long sleeved shirt (or light coat) and light trousers, and are not looking for hot beach weather you will be fine.
