Ft. Lauderdale - Deep Sea Fishing Recommendations

Hi all,

We will be in Ft. Lauderdale Sept. 27-28, prior to our cruise on Sept. 29. We would like to go deep sea fishing on the 28th, which is a Tuesday, does anyone have any recommendations? We'd like to go with a group tour, and not charter a boat ourselves. We are on our honeymoon, and before we leave on the cruise, I promised my fiance (well husband by that day!) that we could go deep sea fishing! :) Has anyone been deep sea fishing in Ft Lauderdale area and have any recommendations?

I too, have promised DH he could go deep sea fishing...

 

I know there are lots of charters available. A few years ago, we parked very close to a fairly nice hotel (I used the washroom pre-fishing) . I can't remember the name of the hotel... anyone know?

Quite a few head boats out of the FLL area. You should not have any problems finding one.

There are a number of these vessels at Bahia Mar (there is a marina and hotel there), right there at the beach (well, across A1A at the marina). You can see them as you drive down the street in front of the beach.

Bahia Mar has tons of options, I was there yesterday (a Tuesday, no less) and there were plenty of guys sitting around and trying to negotiate!
