Lunch in Sitka?

Please suggest places to have lunch in Sitka.

Where have you been? How did you like it?

 

We want to grab a bite after our tour, then wander around on our own.

It takes too long to return to the ship just for lunch.

We ate lunch at a place called Level2 (I think) located on the second level of a (very)small shopping mall on the main street in Sitka along the water. Portions were very large and very good. The restaurant itself has a nice view of the harbor.

I would go there again. :)

We have eaten at the same place - great fried fresh fish, which you can't get on the ship. Another time at Sitka we ate at the Mexican place (neither Debbie or I can remember the name), just across from the church. Mexican in Alaska! The food was great, and again a nice break from the ship.

My DF and I ate at the Wild Spot, street vendor by the church, his Shrimp were excellent, the rice was okay. We enjoyed it.

My family enjoyed reindeer sausage on a bun from a street vendor in Sitka! It was very good and quick - giving us more time to tour around.
