Ports with baby

We will be traveling with our 14 month old daughter in July. We're traveling on NCL, 11 days out of Seattle. We aren't really planning on taking excursions, but wanted suggestions on what a family can do that is fun together. I thought that we'd prety much spend port time wandering around the cities shopping and sightseeing. Is this reasonable, or are there some things not to be missed. Thanks.

Good idea, I would not recommend any extended "tours" with a child that young. I would suggest you pack a small umbrella stroller and pick up walking tour maps in port. For an excellent outing, see if Avis in Skagway has car seats then rent a car- use Murray's guide. http://www.explorenorth.com Plenty to keep you busy. :)

We are also going on NCL Dream on the 11 day cruise. We are going in August though. Too bad we won't be on the same cruise. We will have our 5 and 6 year olds with us. It would be nice to know that there are some other families that will be aboard with us.
