Tomd2 Posted May 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2010 Hi guys, we were researching the ventura cruises and was hoping somebody could tell us what the difference between the LB and LC outside cabins is? I realise the LC cabins are under the theatre but the LB ones are below the casino so surely noise is not a major problem? Is the price difference more to do with movement and location to stairways and facilities?
Thejuggler Posted May 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2010 Cabins in the centre are considered more comfortable in rough seas. Those at the front are also only near the theatre, so it's a long walk to lots of the other areas of the ship, hence why those near the front or back are cheaper. The casino is also next to a bar which does have live sport and music playing, so noise could be an issue.
sammydo Posted May 27, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 27, 2010 i've never really understood the postion bit, as many of the suites are either at the front or the rear of the ship, we have had both, and had no problems, but when we were midship found it really uncomfortable when in rough seas, sorry to confuse the issue, but just my thoughts, but it would of course depend on the itinerary of the cruise you were looking at. hopefully others will add to this for you, who have actually had LB/LC cabins.
