AQ/BLU with Children

Is it possible to book AQ category with children? I was just trying online and it would give me SOLD OUT when I put in 2 adults + 1 child, but it would show me rates when I put in just 2 adults. I guess I'm answering my own question? In any case, why show SOLD OUT when it is not?

Also, in the case it IS possible to book AQ with children, can they dine in Blu?

Thank you.

Aqua class cabins only hold 2 people. Celebrity does not say no children in either aq or blu. By default it is almost all couples. On a recent cruse I did see a young lady about 10 with her mother and a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The family must have booked 2 rooms.

As usual Don is correct. Only 2 per cabin. I did see some children in Blu on my last cruise, believe they were in suites. I should note that then children were well behaved and no one appeared to complain.

They do explain it on their web site also..

Guests dining in Celebrity's Specialty Restaurants must be at least 12 years old, with the exception of Silk Harvest Restaurant and Tuscan Grille (onboard our Solstice-class ships) where children of any age will be accommodated. Also, children of any age that are booked in AquaClass staterooms are welcome to dine in Blu with an adult.

Additionally, onboard our Solstice-class ships, children that are booked in suites that are at least 12 years old will be accommodated in Blu when dining with an adult, based on availability only. Please note that any suite guests that dine in Blu will be charged a recommended gratuity of $5 per guest.

Thanks! I searched the website and didn't find anything about Blu, except it being included as one of the benefits of staying in AQ.

They are correct, the AQ staterooms are for 2 persons ONLY. We are staying in AQ in June with our grandchildren, but we have 2 staterooms. DH with our grandson in one and our granddaughter and I in the other. We will all be dining in Blu, unless we decide we do not like it in which case we would ask if we can be moved to the MDR.
