Postoffice at Castaway Cay

We sailed on the Magic on Jan 8 and mailed postcards from Disney's island, Castaway Cay that Thursday, Jan 13. Today is Feb 2 and they still haven't arrived! Has anyone else waited this long for postcards to arrive? I'm ticked because the postage for each card was 65 cents on top of what I paid for the cards.

Yes, it took forever for the cards to arrive. About a month or so I believe. They will arrive, just be patient.

we were on the Jan. 9th sailing. I mailed cards out from CC and Atlantis. Neither one has come yet! I read a thread where a couple sent them out and they didn't come for six months!

The guy at the post office told us at least 4-6 weeks

Their postal service runs on "Caribbean Time" which is at a much slower pace than what were are used to here.

Mailing from Castaway Cay takes about 4 weeks, however due to the weather it could take longer. We were there on 2/4, and the post office couldn't open because the seas were too rough to ship anything out. Apparently in the past two weeks the Magic couldn't even dock there, and we barely made it in due to rough seas.

That kind of makes me glad that I got to the post office right after they closed. Although, what a nice surprise to be home for several weeks and have your post card come (I was mailing it to myself!)!!
