How can I tell how many balcony cabins are on a ship?

We booked a guarantee for a December BTB, and part of the anticipation is figuring what the odds are of getting an upgrade. Short of counting all the different colors on the deck plans, how can I tell how many insides/outsides/balcony cabins are on Westerdam? Thanks!

CC has a 'review' section for each ship, from a quick view I see Westerdam shows 74% of outsides have a balcony.

It might show some inside vs outside totals too, but I didnt see it. I dont think it will help with your odds, as it seems between 'upsells' and 'flash sales' that significant upgrades depend on the upgrade fairy

WOW!! John this is Awesome!!! I do have a question on this though for you. I see that it is dated 2008, do you know if it has the new staterooms etc, from the latest renovations calculated in?? I see the Nieuw Amsterdam, so I am assuming...

 

So you mind if I put this on the HAL Staterooms/Cabins Main Page?

I didn't realize that it's 19 months old. It comes from the HAL site, so ownership/rights belong to them. Why don't you just post a link to the HAL site, and it will automatically be updated from time to time, I presume. The current one is dated 5/29/09. I am intentionally putting spaces after assets/ in the following, so that it won't be "abbreviated" with three dots:

Thanks to all, and esp to those who pointed me towards the individual ship room allocations. I feel that with our guarantee we have a pretty good chance to be upgraded! How can we let HAL know that we are open to an upsell closer to the time?

Just call your TA or HAL PCC.

I know John. I was trying to find something else and happened to click on Site Map then News and then Ship Facts and there it was... It is possible that they had just updated it.
