Solstice class, 1A covered or not

I have looked through the "sticky" thread for cabins info on Solstice class cabins and nowhere does it say whether the 1A Hump balconies are covered, partly covered or open?

 

Anyone can help??

9207 was covered. Hope this helps. Was not one ofo the largest hump balconies, but quite nice.

By hump balconies, since you are referring to a 1A, you probably mean the ones on the "angle"? They're all covered, all the way down from Deck 11, by the balcony directly above. If you're looking for sun, you'll have to head up to the pool deck. At least on a rainy day, you are still able to enjoy your balcony.

We booked one in January and absolutely loved it - so much so that we have another booked for October. We like Deck 8 (Vista) and the entire verandah is covered. However, depending on the angle of the sun, there were times we had ample sun toward the front of the verandah. It was nice to choose sun or shade. Huge balcony which we enjoyed immensely.

I was in a 1A on Equinox. The balcony ceiling was exactly the same size and shape as the deck. Depending on the sun's position, it was sometimes sunny, and sometimes copletely shaded.
