Allowed or Disallowed? Member Savings Certificate with CrownAnchor Balcony Discount

Recommended Posts

Any know for a fact that this can be done under the new rules? Anyone done it in the last 2 days since the change?

If you are booking from home you can still just have one benefit.

If you are booking while on a ship then you can either take the OBC and balcony discount or a C&A Savings Certificate if one becomes available. You have to determine which is the best bang for your buck. Plus there is a $$$ difference depending if you book more than or less than 6 months from sailing date.

Program after June 1, 2010

Now, the Onboard Booking Bonus is exclusive to Crown & Anchor Society Members. If you now book a 7-night Caribbean cruise you can use the Onboard Booking Bonus of a $100 USD onboard credit for your next cruise, plus use your Savings Certificate for an outside stateroom valued at $150 USD, for a total savings of $250 USD.

There will be instances where your best savings opportunity is an Onboard Booking Bonus together with your Balcony & Suite Discount, particularly if you book at least six months in advance. For example, if you are booking a balcony or suite, you can apply a discount of $250 USD, if booking at least six months in advance, plus your $100 USD Onboard Booking Bonus for a total savings of $350 USD.

Sucks !

7 Day cruise .....Diamond Discount was for $250 because it is past May 1st 2011(is that correct)?

I can do the onboard booking Bonus that is available to be done before June 30th from home using the code AD12... Does anyone know how much that is worth?

Savings certificate was worth $150, would have been $150 off plus $250 off ( Crown and Anchor balcony discount)for a total of $400 off.

Looks like the most I can save now is $250 plus whatever the onboard credit is for a 7 day cruise.....$100 hopefully.

Guess $350 off isn't bad.

Does that sound right?
